Victor Bustos, PhD
Victor is a biologist with a long-standing superhero complex, as he wants to save the world. To achieve this goal, he has devoted himself to aging research for the last 8 years. At Apollo, he hopes to contribute to the creation of companies bringing interventions to treat or better yet prevent aging-associated diseases.
Before Apollo, Victor did his Postdoc and his PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Aging in Cologne, where he worked on better understanding the functions of FOXO transcription factors in aging and metabolism. He was a recipient of the Boehringer Ingelheim fellowship and is also an alumni of the M.Sc. Molecular Biology program in Göttingen.
